Our collaboration for the AW19 collection, Bora Aksu was inspired by Valentina Tereshkova, the first women to go into space. A feminine, light and holographic collection. After receiving the brief from Bora, we knew this was something that we could deliver and started to work on concepts and prototypes. Working with Bora is always an inspiration with strong women being central to the collections. Sunglasses were selected to give a very visual alien look.

Coats and jackets as were puffy, oversized and boxy colours had a mystical space vibe with palettes of lilacs, pinks, greens and light blues.
Our space-age “Flutter-by glasses were taking the space age and mixing them with the femininity of butterflies and alien eyes. Every piece had iridescent pale enamelling and Swarovski crystals to sparkle like cosmic stars.

Looks were further enhanced with some funky avant-garde oval sunglasses and large pearl jewellery adding a touch of class to continue this hot trend. Ring bars and flowers were worn scattered on multiple fingers. All products will be available on our site soon. www.haloandco.com
